  • Any expense charged for treatment or medications not covered under the policy will not be reimbursed. Any conditions caused by alcohol and drugs that are not prescribed by a doctor will not be covered as well.

  • The Compassionate Death Benefit is not payable due to suicide within 1 year from the policy issue date. The total premiums paid for the current protection period will be refunded.

Who can buy WeMedi Outpatient Protector?

Answer: If you are the policyholder, you must be a Hong Kong permanent resident aged 18 or above with a permanent address in Hong Kong in order to be eligible to buy WeMedi Outpatient Protector. You must be in Hong Kong when you are applying for the Plan.

Can I purchase WeMedi Outpatient Protector for my family?

Answer: Yes, you can purchase the Plan for your spouse, your children and your parents. The Life Assured must be a Hong Kong permanent resident with a permanent address in Hong Kong, he/she must be in Hong Kong when applying for the Plan.

Does the Preferential Consultation Charge vary if I visit different clinics?

Answer: The Plan has a transparent cost structure. The Preferential Consultation Charge of each category of outpatient services is fixed no matter which designated clinic you visit.

Is there any cost borne by the Life Assured?

Answer: For each consultation, you have to pay for the Preferential Consultation Charge. If you need to receive treatment or medications outside the scope of your contract, you will be responsible for the fees incurred.

Under the Plan, are there any limits on the number of times you can use the outpatient services per year?

Answer: No, you can use the outpatient services for an unlimited number of times per year. You can only visit each category of outpatient services once per day.

How do I make use of the outpatient services?

Answer: After the policy is issued, you will receive your e-medical card via email. Simply show your e-medical card and make your Preferential Consultation Charge for the outpatient services.

How can I find a network doctor?

Answer: You will receive the list of network doctor via the email notification together with the e-medical card. If there is any update for the list of network doctor, we will notify you via email.

Can I pay the Preferential Consultation Charge with Health Care Voucher?

Answer: Before visiting the clinic, please contact relevant clinic to inquire whether they accept paying the Preferential Consultation Charge with Health Care Voucher.

The Company gives no representation, warranty and guarantee of whatsoever nature (whether express or implied) to any person on or in connection with the service and shall have no liability relating to any aspect of the service by the network doctors, including but not limited to service quality or diagnosis result or consultation service provided by the network doctors and/or collection and use of the service user's personal data by the network doctors. Should there be any dispute or complaint or claim (if any) with regards to the service, you should make such demand or complaint or claim directly to the network doctors.
  2. The Plan does not constitute medical advice and is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. You should consult your doctor or the appropriate professionals independent of the Plan in relation to your personal circumstances including any health or medical condition prior to joining the Plan or using any of the services.
  3. By purchasing the Plan, you are deemed to agree to and authorize the network doctors to submit the medical records, including but not limited to the diagnosis, date of consultation and total amount paid for the service, to the Company and service provider(s) for statistical, research and reporting purposes, and for other purposes set out in our privacy policy. The Company may transfer, disclose, grant access to or share the aforementioned data to data processors and/ or service provider(s) within Hong Kong.

  1. The “Blue x CareVoice Partner Program: WeMedi Outpatient Protector and The CareVoice Mobile App Health Assistant” entitles “WeMedi Outpatient Protector” policyholders to get 1-year free access on “The CareVoice Mobile App” service. (this “Promotion").
  2. This Promotion is offered by Blue Insurance Limited (the “Company”).
  3. This Promotion is available from now until 31 December 2021 (inclusive) (“Promotion Period”). To be eligible for this Promotion, applicant must successfully complete the application and payment for the Plan through the “Blue x CareVoice Partner Privilege Program” webpage within Company’s website ("Eligible Applicant").
  4. The doctor network of “WeMedi Outpatient Protector” (the “Plan”) is provided by HMMP.
  5. The service of “The CareVoice Mobile App” is provided by CareVoice. By using the service of “The CareVoice Mobile App”, you acknowledge and accept CareVoice to collect your personal details.
  6. Each Eligible Applicant can only enjoy this Promotion once.
  7. The free access to “The CareVoice Mobile App” is only applicable when the policy of the Plan is in force.
  8. Cancellation of the Plan’s policy, except for reason under clause 9, will not result in any premium refunds.
  9. If the policyholder cancels the Plan’s policy within the cooling-off period from the policy issue date, the Company will only refund the policyholder the actual premium paid under the Promotion.
  10. This Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any other value in part or in whole or its equivalent.
  11. All policy provisions of the Plan remain unchanged. Please see the policy provisions for details.
  12. The total premium includes insurance levy to be collected by the Insurance Authority.
  13. This Promotion is only applicable to the policies issued in Hong Kong.
  14. This Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with any other promotion or discount offers for the same insurance product.
  15. The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Promotion or discontinue them at any time without prior notice.
