If you own an in force policy under any of the selected WeCare and WeGuard protection plans, you will be entitled to the complimentary coverage for Novel Coronavirus.
If the life assured is diagnosed with Novel Coronavirus with the support of Medical Evidence within the coverage period, HK$10,000 will be paid. This Coverage will be effective automatically at no additional cost and with no waiting period required.
We are also extending our policy grace period to policyholders of selected protection plans. The grace period will be extended to a maximum of 90 days from the earliest premium due date.

1. Eligibility
(“Eligible Applicant”):
• Hong Kong permanent resident; and
• Aged
between 18 and 55; and
• Unemployed, or working in industries of
“Accommodation & Food Services”, “Arts, Entertainment & Recreation”,
“Regulated / Scheduled Airlines”, “Retail Trade”, “Wholesale Trade”, “Charities”;
and
• Not holding any existing policies with Blue. 2. “Free life
insurance protection coverage totaling HK$100 million”(this “Offer”) is provided by
Blue Insurance Limited (“Blue”). It is only applicable to successful applicants who
complete the applications for WeCare Term Life Protection Plan 1 through Blue's
website within 2 Jun 2020 at 00:00:00 (HKT) to 31 Jan 2021 at 23:59:59 (HKT)
(“Coverage Period”). 3. The assumed Sum
Assured of the policy under the Offer is HK$250,000 and the Policy Benefit Term is 1
year, both of which will remain unchanged during the first policy year. 4. No plan changes
are permitted during the first policy year. Cancellation of the policy will not
result in any premium refunds. 5. The Offer is
available on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to a quota of 400 policies,
totaling a Sum Assured of HK$100 million. 6. Standard
underwriting rules for WeCare Term Life Protection Plan 1 apply. The terms and
conditions remain unchanged as per existing policy provisions. 7. Each applicant
with his or her HKID can only apply for this Offer once. 8. This Offer is
only applicable to the policies issued in Hong Kong. 9. For the Offer,
the first year premium of the policy is HK$0. During the application process, HK$1
will be charged and rebated to the applicant’s credit card for authorization
purpose. The premium payment is required to be paid by the policy applicant. 10. “Existing
policies” refer to all in force policies of “WeCare Term Life Protection Plan 1”,
“WeCare Critical Illness Protection Plan 1”, “WeCare Personal Accident Protection
Plan 1”, “WeCare Term Life Protection Plan 2”, and “WeSave S1 Insurance Plan” within
the Coverage Period. 11. If there is any
change to the Life Assured’s information when renewing the policy, including but not
limited to “Occupation”, “Source of Funds”, “Monthly Income”, and “Accumulated
Liquid Assets”, the Life Assured must notify Blue. 12. The Offer is
only available for those with the employment status of “Unemployed”,
“Self-Employed”, and “Salaried”, not “Retired” or “Housewife / Student”. 13. For claims
under this Offer, the claimant will be required to provide employment proof of work
in the selected industries of “Accommodation & Food Services”, “Arts,
Entertainment & Recreation”, “Regulated / Scheduled Airlines”, “Retail Trade”,
and “Wholesale Trade”; or unemployment proof of the Life Assured, for example,
payroll slips prior to unemployment, employment termination notice etc. If there are
any misrepresentations of the employment status or occupation which would result in
the Life Assured’s ineligibility to the Offer, Blue reserves the right to reject the
claim, with no liability to Blue. 14. Blue reserves
the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Offer or discontinue them at any
time without prior notice. 15. The above
information is for general reference only. It shall not be construed as an offer to
sell or a solicitation of an offer or recommendation to purchase or sale or
provision of any products of Blue. Details of the coverage of the Plan are subject
to the Policy Provisions stipulated in the policy by Blue. Please refer to the
product summary and policy document for the details of the insured items and
coverage, provisions and exclusions which shall prevail in case of inconsistency.

1. “Extension of Grace Period” is a special arrangement on deferring premium payment (“Special Arrangement”) offered by Blue Insurance Limited (the “Company”). 2. The Special Arrangement is from 27 Apr 2020 to 31 Jan 2021, both dates inclusive (“Coverage Period”). 3. The Special Arrangement is only applicable to inforce policies of pure term life, critical illness and hospital benefit with premium due date within the Coverage Period. 4. Policyholder is required to apply for the Special Arrangement. Approval from the Company is required in order to effect the Special Arrangement. 5. Upon confirmation from the Company, the grace period of the policy will be extended to a maximum of 90 days from the earliest premium due date (“Extended Grace Period”). 6. No plan changes are permitted during the Extended Grace Period. 7. If a claim is made during the Extended Grace Period, any overdue premium will be deducted from the benefit payable. 8. All overdue premium and levy must be paid within the Extended Grace Period using the payment method as instructed by the Company in order to continue the coverage. 9. If the overdue premium is not received after the Extended Grace Period has ended, the Company has the right to terminate the policy immediately. 10. Other terms and conditions of the policy provisions remain unchanged. 11. The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this promotion or discontinue it at any time without prior notice. 12. The Special Arrangement is subject to these terms and conditions. The Company has the right to reject any applications and if there are any disputes, the Company’s decision is final and conclusive.
